Our Story
Breeze Northland was established by Nathan and Daniel in January 2023. Starting out from a small sheet metal workshop set up in Nathan’s garage, our early work consisted mainly of subcontracting and residential heat pump installations.
As the business grew, we began taking on more commercial work, where our years of experience in the HVAC industry could really be put to use. Today, Breeze Northland operates from our own workshop on Port Road in Whangārei, with a team of nine and the capability to deliver everything from residential installations through to large commercial HVAC and mechanical ventilation projects.
From the beginning, we’ve wanted Breeze to be known for two things: a strong team culture and a high standard of workmanship. We take pride in the finish of our work and in being a contractor that builders, architects and clients can rely on to get the job done properly, work in with the wider project team and find practical solutions when challenges arise.
Our next chapter is about continuing to build on that reputation and establishing Breeze Northland as one of Northland’s leading HVAC companies — trusted to deliver projects large and small without losing the workmanship, teamwork and personal service that got us here.

Our experience goes beyond installing equipment. Breeze Northland works across HVAC design, installation, electrical, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and compliance, giving our team an understanding of what makes a system work throughout its entire life.
Being involved at different stages of a project also helps us identify practical solutions early. We understand how a design needs to translate into an installation, how different trades need to work together, and how the finished system will eventually need to be accessed, serviced and maintained.
Our team includes qualified HVAC technicians and registered electricians, with experience ranging from residential heat pumps through to commercial air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, specialist extraction and larger design-and-build projects.
That combination of technical knowledge and hands-on experience allows us to approach each project with the same objective: find the right solution and deliver it properly.

Nathan
Co-Founder & Director — Installation & Projects
Nathan oversees Breeze Northland’s installation and project work, working closely with our team on site to keep projects moving and ensure every installation is completed to the standard Breeze expects.
Daniel
Co-Founder & Director — Service, Design & Compliance
Daniel leads Breeze Northland’s service, maintenance and HVAC design work, including mechanical ventilation design, PS1 documentation and BWOF/IQP compliance support.
Joe
QS & Sales
Joe looks after estimating, quoting and sales, working with customers, builders and project teams to understand project requirements and develop practical HVAC solutions.
Together with our wider team of HVAC technicians, electricians and apprentices, we bring the experience and practical skills needed to deliver Breeze Northland projects from initial planning through to installation and ongoing support.
